Rev. Jacob Hedrick

Pastor, The Altar

Jacob began going to church at the age of 13. He was invited by his grandmother to a growing and exciting church named Landmark in Lexington, NC. He instantly felt something different about this church and the spirit that he felt. At the age of 18 Pastor Hedrick was offered several sports scholarships and offers to play at Princeton, Dartmouth, East Carolina, and Harvard. Feeling the greater need to continue working within his local church, Pastor Hedrick bypassed the sports scholarships and was granted a full academic scholarship to a nearby university. He began preaching in 2000 to his local congregation and quickly began speaking at other churches for children’s ministry.  As time passed the Hedricks were invited to speak to more and more adult congregations and received the call to move to Mooresville, NC in 2011.

Pastor Hedrick has a Bachelor’s in Science from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and studied Business at The Graduate School of Western Carolina University. Pastor Hedrick is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and is currently the Children's Ministries Director for the state of North Carolina.

Amado and Sonia Bautista

Spanish Ministry

Bro and Sis Bautista joined us late 2019.  They come to The Altar with several years of ministry experience.  They have a huge burden for souls, especially those of the Spanish culture.  They have a wonderful, humble spirit.  The Altar loves the Baustista family and you will too.
